My fridge (well, not mine, but a friend’s) overheated in the spate of hot weather we had recently. I adopted the family bar fridge as a make-do. Such is my business life at the moment. Waiting on a whole swag of website pre-payments to come in. “Cheque is in the mail” kinda stuff. It’s amazing how silent clients become when you send an invoice. I don’t think I’ve had so many cheques waiting in the mail my whole life. I’ll be a super-rich techno junkie when they clear but until then, it’s viddles, cabbage and home made pumpkin soup for tea.
